Ice Dogs Announce Revised Schedule
October 8, 2005 - ECHL (ECHL)
Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release
Long Beach, CA. - The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced today their revised schedule for the 2005-2006 regular season. The league was forced to revise the schedule in the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, which saw the voluntary suspension of both the Mississippi Sea Wolves and Texas Wildcatters.
The Ice Dogs, who were not scheduled to play either of those teams this season saw minor modifications to the schedule, most notably one extra game in Idaho on October 23rd and some rearranging of opponents at home. None of the home dates or times for the Ice Dogs were affected by the schedule changes.
Both the Mississippi Sea Wolves and Texas Wildcatters have announced intent to play in the 2006-2007 season, with Mississippi already having reopened their offices and Texas reopening as soon as possible. Both teams play in the American Conference's South Division.
Season tickets for the 2005-06 season are on sale now. Season seats can be secured by depositing $100 per seat. Call (562) ICE-DOGS for visit www.icedogs.com for more information.
