Ice Bears Home Stand Starts This Weekend

Knoxville Ice Bears News Release
The Knoxville Civic Coliseum will be busy the next three weekends. Your Ice Bears start a six game home stand which happen to be the next three Friday and Saturday nights. Home Ice has been great to the Ice Bears this season with a 15-5 home record (27-16 overall). The Ice Bears remain on top of the standings in the SPHL with 54 points.
The Ice Bears are putting the final touches on a "Your Option Counts" Question and Answer meeting with Coach Jim Bermingham, General Manager Preston Dixon and Ice Bears Staff before the game on March 5th at 4pm in the Ball room. This event will be RSVP; Season ticket Holders will have Priority seating. More information will be release this week on this event.

The Ice Bears have a limited number of Luxury Boxes available. These are located at Ice Level on the Sides. Each Box holds 12 fans, $25 per seat. If you are looking for the best seats in the Arena, These are it. You will be sitting right on the Glass, and it just does not get any closer to the action. The Luxury Boxes also have a server for beverage and food items so you don't have to miss any of the action. Contact John Scott for details or to arrange a visit to the Arena.
DODGEBALL Tournament Friday 2/18/04 / Register Your Team
Your Ice Bears have teamed up with the "Game Show Network" to have the first known DODGEBALL game on Ice. A tournament will be played in the exhibit hall before the Ice Bears hockey game. The Championship game will be played at center ice. You must have a ticket to the Ice Bears game for entry to play or watch, Players can purchase tickets at group rates of Silver for $6 or Gold for $10.
There is no charge to enter a team. Single players looking to join a team are encouraged to sign up also. In the event you already have a game ticket for Friday's game and would like to play send your or your team's info to jscott@knoxvilleicebears.com .
Grand prize will be a Sony Playstation 2 along with other goodies from the Ice Bears. If you already have tickets to the game and would like to join a team or place a team in the tournament there will be no entry fee. The tournament will start at 5:30 before the game on Friday February the 18th.
To enter a team or purchase tickets at the discounted rate contact John Scott at jscott@knoxvilleicebears.com. There will be a limited number of teams. So sign up early.
