Knoxville Ice Bears News Release
The Knoxville Ice Bears and WKZX 93.5 FM have entered into an agreement making WKZX the flagship station to broadcast home and away Ice Bears games in 2005-2006.
The agreement includes the broadcast of the Knoxville Ice Bears Coach's Show and Pep Rally Party on Tuesday nights throughout the season from 7:00-9:00pm. The location is to be determined.
"This opportunity to work with the Ice Bears next season will bring the contagious excitement of both the team and fans to a much bigger audience through the WKZX broadcasts. The Ice Bears organization continually seeks ways to entertain their supporters and WKZX looks forward to being the broadcast voice for the Knoxville Ice Bears," said Brenda Sims Palmer, President of Cherokee Media Inc and WKZX.
