Ice Bats Individual Tickets on Sale; "Meet the Team Party" Planned

Austin Ice Bats News Release


The Austin Ice Bats of the Central Hockey League today announced that tickets for individual home games have been placed on sale for the team's 2006-07 season, which begins this coming Saturday at all-new Chaparral Ice Arena.

Once again, fans have a range of options for purchasing tickets. In addition to providing tickets through the Ice Bats office at 927-PUCK, the Bats are for the first time utilizing Front Gate Tickets as the team's ticket outlet. Fans may conveniently purchase tickets at any Front Gate Tickets location, including Stubbs BBQ, Waterloo Records and Encore Video & CD.

Fans may order on-line through the Ice Bats website at www.icebats.com. Phone orders may be placed by calling (512) 927-PUCK, or 1-888-512-SHOW. Individual game tickets range in price from $15 to $35, depending on section, with discounted rates for groups of 15 or more.

In anticipation of the upcoming season, the Ice Bats have also scheduled a "Meet the Team Party" beginning at 6:30pm this Wednesday, October 18th at Wings 'N More, just east of I-35 on Howard Lane. All fans are welcome to attend to meet the members of this year's squad. Wings 'N More will offer wings and drink specials to all Ice Bats fans, and there will be prize drawings for Ice Bats memorabilia.

The Ice Bats will open their 11th season this Saturday, October 21st at 7:30pm against the defending Northern Conference champion Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. Free magnetic schedules go to all fans in attendance.

The all-new Chaparral Ice Arena is located on I-35 between Howard Lane and Wells Branch Parkway. Season tickets and corporate partnerships for the '06-'07 campaign remain available, with full-season and half-season ticket plans on sale now.
