Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League (CHL) today announced that the team's immigration issues have been resolved and that players will begin reporting to the team beginning tonight.
"We're happy this is over with and we can get on with the business of playing hockey," said Killer Bees General Manager Grant Buckborough.
Upon visa approval early Monday morning, players were contacted and flights were immediately re-booked. Some players will arrive tonight, while others will make it to South Texas tomorrow and Wednesday.
The Killer Bees open up their fourth season of CHL action on this Friday and Saturday night vs. the Arizona Sundogs. Tickets are available at the Dodge Arena Box Office, online at killerbeehockey.com, and by phone at 866-RIO-TIXX. Tickets can also be purchased at The Boot Jack Valley Wide, Valley Yamaha, Melhart Music Center, Lionel's Western Wear Weslaco, or Lone Star National Bank.
