
Ice Announce Schedule Adjustments, Promos

INDIANAPOLIS, IN-- The Indianapolis Ice announced several adjustments to its 2003-2004 schedule today. The Ice opens its regular season campaign on Saturday, October 18th when the team hosts the Shreveport Mudbugs at 7:00 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum.
Four games will be played at the Conseco Fieldhouse this season as the team will play two games in November (1st, 15th) and two games in January (17th, 24th) at the downtown venue. All four contests are 7:00 face-offs.
In addition, Indy's game originally scheduled for Saturday, February 28th against the Memphis RiverKings has been moved to Sunday, January 25th at 5:00 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum. One more change has the Ice's start time on Wednesday, November 1st against Oklahoma City being moved to 11:00 a.m. to incorporate "Be Against Drugs Day.
On the promotional front, the Ice once again has a night for everyone as Ladies Night, Men's Night, College Night, Family Day and Half-Price Group Night all return for this season. Indianapolis will also have special giveaway nights this year which will include items such as schedule magnets, ice scrapers and water bottles. Theme nights such as "Hawaiian Luau Night" and "Holiday Relief Night" are also part of the season's fare.
As usual, "Pack the House Night" returns and will be played this year on Saturday, January 24th when the Ice entertains the Wichita Thunder at 7:00 p.m. from Conseco Fieldhouse. Last year's game drew a CHL-record crowd of 14,739, while raising money for several charitable organizations.
Indianapolis Ice Season Ticket Packages are on sale now. Currently being offered are full season (32 games), 24-game, 16-game and other smaller packages. All packages come with a ticket discount, complimentary parking at the Pepsi Coliseum, guaranteed seat location, exchange dates for unused tickets and exclusive season ticket holder events with Indianapolis Ice players and coaches. Packages start as low as $52 and may be purchased by calling the Ice office at (317) 925-4423.
