Lubbock Cotton Kings News Release
The Lubbock Cotton Kings have signed a radio deal with Lubbocks Clear Channel Communications. Per club policy, no financial terms of the deal were disclosed. For the fourth consecutive year, the voice of the Cotton Kings can be heard on KKAM (1340-AM), KKCL (Kool98-FM) and KFYO (NewsTalk 790). Look for the broadcast schedule and information on the Red&Gunner Coach's Show in the next few weeks.

*Attention Ladies: The Lubbock Cotton Kings will be holding tryouts for the Royals Spirit Squad Dance Team Sept. 12-14. All participants must email Jeannie Diaz () by Sept. 10.
*The Coliseum ice surface is nearly completed. While still less than a week away, Kris Whitaker and the ice staff are slowly working up to 3/4 inch mark.
"This is something you just can't rush," said Whitaker. "If we rush this, air bubbles could get into the ice and ruin our desired surface."
"Ice camps and free skating will begin as soon as the ice surface is down," said Whitaker.
Pictures will be on the new website to be unveiled in October.
*The Lubbock Cotton Kings and Go Time Sports will be hosting two pre-season hockey camps, Sept. 12-15, 2003. This is a great opportunity for both youth and adult hockey players to develop their skills through intensive and fun training on the ice. Join Mike Hiebert, Paul Fioroni and Mike Brusseau at this years pre-season hockey camp.

Cost: $120 per player for eight hours of instruction.
