Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen welcomed the Lethbridge Hurricanes to the Scotiabank Saddledome for a 2:00 p.m. start. Lethbridge would come out dominant in a 9-2 victory over Calgary.

Lethbridge opened up the scoring early 14 seconds in, courtesy of Noah Chadwick. Ben Kindel found the back of the net to tie the game off a feed from Maxim Muranov. Miguel Marques would return

Lethbridge's lead before the end of the first. Ben Kindel tied the game up once again just under three minutes into the second for his 15th of season, hitting the 50-point mark in his rookie season.

This would be the last time Calgary would crack the scoresheet, with Lethbridge going on to score seven across the second and third periods. Noah Chadwick netted his second of the game, while Brayden Edwards would match it with a pair of goals. Carter Dereniwsky, Kash Anderson, Logan Wormald and Hayden Pakkala rounded out the goal scorers for the visitors making the final 9-2.

Shots finished 48-26 in favour of Lethbridge. Calgary now sits three points out of the eighth final playoff spot.

Calgary is back at the Saddledome to wrap up their three-game homestand on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 11:00 a.m. The Edmonton Oil Kings will be the visitors in the annual TELUS BE BRAVE #EndBullying game. Calgary will then venture out on a mini two-game road trip with stops in Red Deer (Saturday, Mar. 2 @ 7:00 p.m.) and Medicine Hat (Sunday, Mar. 3 @ 4:00 p.m.).
