Hurricanes Sign Hall Twins
PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Friday that they have signed Adam and Justin Hall to Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreements. The Hall twins, 16, hail from Edmonton, Alberta and were both selected in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft by the Hurricanes.
Justin was selected in the seventh round (140th overall) while Adam was taken in the eighth round (158th overall). So far this season, they have combined for 38 points having each appeared in 27 games with the CAC Edmonton Canadians Midget AAA hockey team of the Alberta Midget Hockey League. Justin has registered 18 points (10g-8a) along with 27 penalty minutes while Adam has collected 20 points (7g-13a) with 20 penalty minutes. Last year, Justin registered 44 points (22g-22a) along with 40 penalty minutes while Adam collected 39 points (19g-20a) along with 50 penalty minutes with the CAC Canadians Minor Midget AAA. In their draft year, the two skated with the CAC Canadians Bantam AAA. That year, Justin chipped in 36 points (18g-18a) along with 24 penalty minutes in 36 games while Adam had 33 points (16g-17a) with 42 penalty minutes in 36 outings. The Hurricanes continue their five game BC road trip tonight in Prince George in the first of two this weekend against the Cougars.
The 'Canes will wrap up their road trip on Tuesday in Kootenay against the Ice before returning home on Wednesday to welcome the Kelowna Rockets at the ENMAX Centre.
