Hurricanes/Broncos Alumni Golf Tourney Set to Tee Off

Lethbridge, AB - The boys are back in town. After a one-year hiatus, the Lethbridge Hurricanes/Broncos Alumni Golf Tournament is pleased to be back, continuing the always fan pleasing tradition. The 4th annual event will take place Friday, July 9th at Southern Alberta's top golf destination-Paradise Canyon Golf Resort. It is one of the highlights on the 'Canes calendar; as friends new and old return to the city to swap stories and swing the clubs.

Alumni already expected to attend include: Zach Boychuk, Rob Fritz, Rob Klinkhammer, Colton Yellow Horn, Carter Bancks, Bryan Maxwell, Bob Loucks and Randy Maxwell.

While registration is filling up fast, there are still some spots open to the general public to take part in this enjoyable event. Hurricanes supporters are encouraged to sign up for an afternoon filled with great golf and good times by filling out the entry form available online.

There are plenty of great prizes available, including three generous hole-in-one awards: $10,000 towards a new car courtesy Lethbridge Auto Traders, $10,000 cash from B93 FM and $10,000 cash from RBC Financial. There are also four secondary awards for an "ace" which include trips to Atlantic City, Maui and Fairmont Resorts.

All the proceeds raised from the tournament go to the Hurricanes/Broncos Alumni fund as well as the Hurricanes Education Fund. This year, much of the funds raised have been earmarked for a new, state-of-the-art training room for the 'Canes that will compliment the new and improving ENMAX Centre.

Singles registration is now open and is $250 per player while limited corporate sponsorships are still available.
