The Lethbridge Hurricanes scored 6 goals in the game's opening 16 minutes and cruised to an 8-1 win over the Blazers on Sunday night at ISC.
After falling behind 6-0 after one, the Blazers scored their lone goal 7 minutes into the second with Jordan Rowley counting on a powerplay. The 'Canes added two more in the second to close the scoring.
Final shots were 37-18 'Canes with James Priestner - lifted after the 6th Lethbridge goal - taking the loss and Michael Maniago picking up the win.
The Blazers were 1-for-6 on the PP while the 'Canes were 4-for-6.
Next up: the Spokane Chiefs on Tuesday night at ISC.
