Phoenix, AZ - Arizona Rattlers WR/LB Hunkie Cooper was named the Arena Football League's Ironman of the Week, following the Rattlers 70-63 quarterfinal victory over the Los Angeles Avengers.
The 10-Year veteran had five catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns, recovered two fumbles, including one for a touchdown, and ran in a two-point conversion. Cooper's fumble recovery touchdown shifted the momentum in the Rattlers favor; helping the sixth seeded Rattlers upset the fourth seed Los Angeles.
The Rattlers continue their Drive to ArenaBowl XVII this Sunday, when they travel to San Jose to take on the top seeded SaberCats. The Sunday afternoon game kicks off at 2:30, and can be seen on the home of the Arena Football League, NBC.
