
Humboldt Bests Gems In Slugfest At Kiger, 20-9

Klamath Falls, OR - The Humboldt Crabs benefited by hitting four home runs as they defeated the Klamath Falls Gems 20-9 in non-league action on Wednesday night at Kiger Stadium. L.J. Brewster (University of Hawaii) paced the Gems offensively with four RBI's, as both Brewster and Cody Hough (University of California Riverside) had three hits each for the Gems, who banged out 13 hits in the loss.
Ian Buckles took the loss in his 2nd start of the year for the Gems, falling to 2-3 on the year. Cameron Law stayed perfect, moving to 3-0 with the win for Humboldt. The Gems overall record is 19-18 on the year, 17-17 in West Coast league play, only three games out of first place in the South Division.
