Brookings 2 @ Aberdeen 5 - The Aberdeen Wings finished their weekend sweep of the Brookings Blizzard as Jonathan Bendorf and Stepan Porkorny lit the lamp twice for Aberdeen. John Sladic found the back of the net for the Wings as well. Matt Vernon was very good in net as he allowed just two goals on 28 shots. John Kaljian and Luke Aquaro provided the offense for the Blizzard and George McBey made 43 saves in a losing effort.
The Wings will stay home next Friday & Saturday to take on the Bismarck Bobcats. $10 general admission tickets can be purchased at any of the 4 C-Express locations in Aberdeen!
