HOUSTON - Houston Aeros President and General Manager Dave Barr announced today the signing of Peter-Emmanuel Brady as an emergency back-up goaltender. He will serve as back-up to goaltender Derek Gustafson in tonight's game at the San Antonio Rampage and will wear #29.

The move became necessary when goaltender Johan Holmqvist was injured this week in practice. He joins two other Aeros goaltenders on the sidelines: Frederic Cloutier and Dieter Kochan.

This is Brady's third stint with Houston. Earlier he served as back-up for the Aeros on Feb. 15 and 16 in games against the Utah Grizzlies. He did not see any playing time in those two games. He rejoined the Aeros on March 9. The Cap-Rouge, Quebec-native made his AHL debut on March 11 in relief of Derek Gustafson. Brady stopped 16 of the 18 shots he faced in 33 minutes of work against San Antonio.

Brady, 25, is a first-year pro with the Austin Ice Bats (Central Hockey League). He has played 17 games with the Ice Bats and recorded 13 wins and four losses with 2.29 goals against average and a .926 save percentage. He played four seasons of collegiate hockey at the University of Alaska-Anchorage and the University of British Columbia.
