HOUSTON, TX- (Tuesday, September 12, 2006) -After spending its last two weeks on the road, the Houston Dynamo is finally home once more, after defeating the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1 at The Home Depot Center on Sunday.

Landon Donovan put the Galaxy ahead at the 29th minute off of Alan Gordon's first assist of the year. The Dynamo, who once more played for a good part of the game with 10 men on the field, after Brian Mullan was ejected at 66th minute, evened the score at the 32nd minute, courtesy of Craig Waibel's 3rd goal of the year. Dwayne De Rosario put the Dynamo up for good with his 10th goal of the season, at the 56th minute.

With the win, only the team's first in the last four games, Houston improved to 10-8-9, still holding on to the second spot in the Western Conference, with 39 points. The win also gave the Dynamo a four-point advantage over Chivas USA and Colorado, both tied with 35 points as of today.

PAUL DALGLISH JOINS THE DYNAMO

Scottish forward Paul Dalglish, son of former Scottish international Kenny Dalglish, has been officially added to the Houston Dynamo senior roster as a Senior International and Discovery player. He played for approximately 20 minutes in Sunday's game against the Galaxy.

Prior to joining the Dynamo, Dalglish played for Scottish club Hibernian FC, where he had played in two games during the present Scottish Premiere League season. Dalglish also played in three games in last year's UEFA Cup, one of them as a starter, scoring one goal. Throughout his career at Hibernian FC, Dalglish played 12 games, 5 as a starter, with 2 goals scored.

DYNAMO HURTIN' AGAINST CHIVAS

Brian Mullan suffered an ejection against the Galaxy for a second caution issued in the 66th minute. Due to his ejection, Mullan will be suspended for the team's next game, which will be on Sunday against Chivas USA. On top of that, Eddie Robinson will also be out for this game. Robinson was suspended by Major League Soccer, following violent behavior against Carlos Ruiz on September 2.

DYNAMO POWER HOUR AT THE MEZZANINE

Glenn Davis' Dynamo Power Hour will be on the road once more this Wednesday, this time at the Mezzanine Lounge. Dynamo leading scorers Dwayne De Rosario and Brian Ching, along with Head Coach Dominic Kinnear, will on hand to give their thoughts on the team's latest road trip, and also on the final five games of the season. Come show your support for the Dynamo this Wednesday, September 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mezzanine Lounge, located at 2200 Southwest Freeway, Suite 150, Houston, TX 77098.

KINNEAR'S CONVERSATION

Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear will be answering fans' questions every week of the 2006 season via the Houston Dynamo web site, www.houstondynamo.com. Fans can submit questions by navigating to the "Fans" section of the website, and clicking on the link "Kinnear's Conversation" link on the right hand side of the page. Selected questions will be answered in an online article every Thursday.

HOUSTON DYNAMO IN THE COMMUNITY

On Friday, September 15 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Alejandro Moreno will be at La Michoacana, located at 3910Aldine Mail Route, in Houston, TX 77039. There, he will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.

On Friday, September 15, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Eddie Robinson will be at La Michoacana, located at 14050 Hwy 249, in Houston, TX 77086. There, he will sign autographs and take pictures with fans.

On Saturday, September 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Chris Wondolowski will ride in the Fiestas Patrias Parade through the streets of Downtown.

On Saturday, September 16, 2006, from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. Mpho Moloi, Zach Wells, and Mike Chabala will be at the Grand Opening of Comerica Bank, 2820 Gessner Dr., in Houston, TX 77080 (Gessner and Kempwood). All three players will be signing autographs and greeting fans.

On Sunday, September 17, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Houston Dynamo Midfielder Mpho Moloi will be at the Carl Lewis International Track and Field Complex, located at 2820 Gessner Dr. in Houston, TX 77080. There, the Houston Dynamo will be host a soccer camp for 150 youth identified through the American Diabetes Association's CHASE Program - an educational program targeting at-risk Hispanic youth. They will attend 4 educational sessions and upon conclusion meet Midfielder Mpho Moloi for a Q&A as well as autographs.

Houston Dynamo Midfielder Dwayne De Rosario, Forward Brian Ching, and Head Coach Dominic Kinnear will be this week's guest on ESPN 790 AM's Dynamo Power Hour, which now airs every Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. On tonight's show, Kinnear, De Rosario, and Ching will discuss the teams' performance in its match against the Los Angeles Galaxy, and give their thoughts on the team's upcoming contests against Chivas USA.

TV Informa 43's "Dynamo TV", is your best source for Dynamo-related news and information. The show airs every Tuesday, from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Among other topics, Danny Gonzalez will talk about the Houston Dynamo's performance against the Los Angeles Galaxy, and also about the team's upcoming game against Chivas USA.

Radio Concierto 101.7 FM's "La Hora del Dynamo" gives you one full hour of everything you need to know about the Houston Dynamo. Hosted by Dagoberto Puello, Daniel Mejía, Hector López, and Ricardo Palacio, the show features interviews and in-depth coverage of anything and everything related to the Dynamo.
