
Houston Dynamo Loan GK Michael Nelson to RGV FC for Saturday's Match at Real Monarchs SLC

HOUSTON - The Houston Dynamo have loaned goalkeeper Michael Nelson to Rio Grande Valley FC for their match at Real Monarchs SLC this evening at 9, the club announced today.
Nelson has recorded a 2-2-0 record in his four appearances with RGV FC this season and has made 14 saves. The goalkeeper made his season debut on the road in Tulsa on March 29 and joined the Toros in a 5-2 victory over Las Vegas Lights FC on April 20. Nelson started in a 3-1 defeat at Phoenix Rising FC on May 10 and helped the Toros in a 3-1 South Texas Derby victory over San Antonio FC on May 25.
RGV FC goes into Saturday's match with a 4-5-4 record overall and 1-4-2 mark in away matches. Real Monarchs SLC are 3-6-3 on the year and 3-1-2 at home.
The two sides split the results in their two matches last season, with Real Monarchs SLC winning 2-0 at Zions Bank Stadium in Utah on June 4 and RGV FC taking a 2-1 win at H-E-B Park on September 5.
Tonight's match will be streamed live on ESPN+ beginning at 9:00 p.m. CT.
