CHESTER, Pa. - For the first time in team history, the Union came from a two-goal deficit to win a regular season match. Ilsinho netted a brace and added an assist when Philadelphia Union came from behind to take the victory against New York Red Bulls at Talen Energy Stadium on Saturday night. Jamiro Monteiro scored for a second consecutive game. The club's 9-4-4 record (31 points) continues their best start to a season in team history through 17 games.

The comeback victory was the first time in Union history that the club came back from down two goals to win a match.
Tonight's crowd of 18,767 was the largest crowd at Talen Energy Stadium this season ... it was the second sellout of the campaign as well as the 47th all-time for a Union match at the venue.
With Jamiro Monteiro and Ilsinho scoring in the 60th and 61st minute tonight, it marked the third time in Union history that the club scored two goals in consecutive minutes ... Danny Cruz scored in the 50th and 51st minute against Seattle (5/4/13) while CJ Sapong and Chris Pontius scored in the 67th and 68th minute, respectively, against the Red Bulls (7/17/16).
Ilsinho recorded two goals and one assist tonight after entering as a substitute in the 53rd minute ... among all MLS players, when entering as a substitute, Ilsinho leads the league in both categories ... his five assists as a substitute are three better than three other players (Adama Diomande, Dom Dwyer, Omir Fernandez), and his three goals as sub are tied with three other players for the league lead (Diomande, Ezequiel Barco, Jordan Hamilton)... With five assists on the season, Ilsinho is second in all of MLS among players with at least 400 minutes in assists per 90 minutes (0.82) ... he trails only LAFC's Adama Diomande (0.84) in the category...His four goals on the season are tied for team-lead and he leads the team in assists with five to tie his MLS career-high .
Jamiro Monteiro scored for a second consecutive game and now has four goals on the season, tied for team-lead.
Alejandro Bedoya recorded his second assist of the season.
Auston Trusty made his 50th start for the club.
Haris Medunjanin made his 80th career start for the Union.
The Union next play at Audi Field on Wednesday, June 12 in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup against D.C. United (7:00 p.m. ET/ESPN+).
