Houston Dynamo FC Will Host Sporting Kansas City in Western Conference Semifinals on Sunday, November 26

HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC continues postseason play later this month when they host Sporting Kansas City in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference Semifinals on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 6:00 p.m. CT at Shell Energy Stadium.

Dynamo fans can purchase tickets for the match via SeatGeek HERE. Houston boasts a 16-3-6 (WLD) record in all competitions at Shell Energy Stadium this year.

Along with MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, the match will also be broadcast on FS1 (U.S.), Fox Deportes (U.S.), TSN (Canada) and RDS (Canada). The radio broadcasts can be found in English on ESPN 97.5 FM and SiriusXM FC and in Spanish on TUDN 93.3 FM.

The fourth-seeded Dynamo advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals after defeating fifth-seeded Real Salt Lake 4-3 on penalties at home in Game 3 of the Round One Best-of-3 series, after playing to a 1-1 draw in regulation. The series was tied coming into the match, after Houston won 2-1 at home in Game 1 on Sunday, Oct. 29, while Salt Lake took Game 2 in a penalty shootout at their house on Monday, Nov. 6.

Eighth-seeded Kansas City took down top-seeded rivals St. Louis CITY SC in two games in the Round One Best-of-3 series. Sporting defeating CITY 4-1 on the road in Game 1 behind goals from Logan Ndenbe, Rémi Walter, Gadi Kinda and Dániel Sallói. At home in Game 2, Kansas City closed the series with a 2-1 victory with Ndenbe and Sallói scoring another goal each.

This is the sixth time that both teams meet in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs and the first time since the 2017 season. Houston defeated Kansas City 1-0 at home in the Wild Card game in 2017 and improved their record to 4-1 against Kansas City in the postseason. Both teams met earlier this year in a knockout tournament with Houston securing a 1-0 victory at Shell Energy Stadium in the Round of 32 of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on May 10.
