Houston Dynamo FC Acquire $500,000 in GAM from Austin FC

Houston Dynamo FC News Release
HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC acquired $500,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) from Austin FC in a trade for defender Adam Lundkvist, both clubs announced today.
The Dynamo will receive $300,000 in 2023 GAM and $200,000 in 2024 GAM from Austin FC. The total haul is the largest amount of GAM acquired by the Dynamo in a single trade.
Lundkvist was acquired on a full transfer from Swedish side IF Elfsborg on April 26, 2018. The defender made his MLS debut on May 30, 2018, against Real Salt Lake and would play in 121 games across five seasons for the Dynamo. He made his 100th league appearance for the Dynamo during the 2022 regular season in a 3-0 victory over the LA Galaxy on May 22.
