It is exciting to join forces with a credible, global brand whose corporate vision and value system line up nicely with ours. I'm sure that, together, we will do great things here in Houston."

Tim Cutt, President of BHP Billiton Petroleum & Potash, said, "We are proud to announce our partnership with the Houston Dynamo and join our name with a leading organization that brings so much enjoyment to Houston and our international community. We are very excited that the BHP Billiton name will be front and center on Dynamo jerseys as we watch them play here in Houston and around the United States."
"It was clear during my initial discussions with BHP Billiton that both of our organizations shared very similar core values," said Dynamo executive vice president Steven Powell. "BHP Billiton has a strong community commitment and a desire to provide their growing employee base with a highly visible point of pride. These two goals created a great fit with our commitment to serving the city."
"Our international work force and business scope is one of the reasons why the Dynamo sponsorship is a great fit for our company," said Cutt. "Soccer is the World's Game and is played by people of all ages around the world. It promotes the same values BHP Billiton is built on - team work, integrity, performance, respect - and it also builds a strong sense of community wherever it is played."
