Houston Dash Announce 2018 Regular Season Schedule

HOUSTON - The National Women's Soccer League announced the 2018 regular season schedule today, including the Houston Dash's 24-game slate. The Dash open the 2018 season on Sunday, March 25 at BBVA Compass Stadium at 4 p.m. CDT.

The 12-game BBVA Compass Stadium schedule includes a game against each of the teams in the NWSL and two games each against Becky Sauerbrunn, Kelley O'Hara and the newest NWSL franchise, Utah Royals FC; Crystal Dunn, Lynn Williams and the North Carolina Courage; and Rose Lavelle, Mallory Pugh and the Washington Spirit.

The 2018 home schedule includes three games on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Dash will host the 2017 NWSL Champions Portland Thorns FC on Wed. May 9, 2018. The regular season concludes on the road with a trip to North Carolina for a match against the Courage on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Houston will take part in two Lifetime NWSL Game of the Week broadcasts; and the remaining broadcasts will be streamed live on the go90 app and NWSLSoccer.com.

The Dash, entering their fifth season, drafted forwards Kimberly Keever and Veronica Latsko; midfielders Abby Elinsky and Haley Hanson; and goalkeeper Sarah Shimer at the 2018 NWSL College Draft. Other offseason acquisitions include Christen Press, who was acquired in a three team trade, Canadian international Lindsay Agnew and South African internationals Thembi Kgatlana and Linda Motlhalo.
