
Houston Aeros Assign Mike Montgomery to Allen

Houston, TX - Houston Aeros General Manager Jim Mill announced on Saturday the team has assigned defenseman Mike Montgomery to the Allen Americans, the Aeros Central Hockey League affiliate.
Montgomery played in Houston's 2-1 overtime win on Friday night at Texas. He has played in a total of three games with an assist. In 13 games with the Americans this season, the Minnesota native has two goals and three assists. The second-year pro split last season between Houston and the Ontario Reign of the ECHL. In 35 games with the Aeros, Montgomery scored one goal and set up three others for four points. In 27 games with the Reign, the 26-year old defender scored one goal and added one assist for two points. Prior to turning pro, he played four seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, winning a national championship in 2011.
The Aeros return to Toyota Center on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 5:05 p.m. to host the Peoria Rivermen. Fans are allowed to purchase a ticket for their dog and bring their canine in honor of "Chilly's Pets Pals". The Aeros will have a "dog friendly" section complete with a water and relief station. Any fan who brings a dog toy as part of the Dog Toy Drive will receive two tickets to a select future Aeros home game. Every Sunday throughout the season is Family Day, where fans may purchase four tickets, parking and four Aeros prizes starting at $54.
Aeros season tickets start as low as $9 per seat and may be purchased online at Aeros.com by placing a $100 deposit. Once your order is processed, an Aeros ticket representative will contact you to choose your exact seat location, as well as discuss the payment options. Information on season tickets and mini-plans is also available on the team website at www.aeros.com.
