
Hounds welcome Prospects to town This Weekend

Soo Greyhounds News Release
The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club will welcome 41 prospects and their families into town this coming weekend when they hold their Annual Prospect Orientation Camp. The two-day event will see 5 goalies, 12 defenseman and 24 forwards participate in three scrimmages and off-ice fitness throughout Saturday and Sunday's schedule of events.
The rosters for the camp has been broken into Team Red and Team Black and are as follows:
TEAM RED (Coached by Nick Warriner)
Goalies (2) - Ryan McDonald, Michael Boike
Defenseman (6) - Patrick Volpe, Mike Miller, Mike MacIntyre, Taylor D'Andrea, Chad Thibodeau, Connor Hale
Forwards (12) - Daniel Catenacci, Michael Iacocca, Trevor Morbeck, Josh Pitt, Brian Bunnett, Brad Pascall, Andrew Shutt, Jarrod Oliphant, Adam Fares, Devin Loe, Brett Findlay, MacKenzie Charron
TEAM BLACK (Coached by Mike Stapleton)
Goalies (3) - Shawn Dlugozima, Paul Orlando, Adrian Rizos
Defenseman (6) - Ryan Sproul, Jeff Lobman, Matthew Fuller, Beau Orser, Corey Jackson, Danny Carter
Forwards (12) - Justin Thomas, Nick Cousins, Brandon Warmington, Kyle Lapenskie, Nicholas Romano, Joel Senecal, Brett Campbell, Drew McMillan, Adam Vandersluis, Dylan Twyman, Brett Armstrong, Michael Schug
The two teams will meet for the first time when they square off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning before taking part in their second scrimmage at 4 p.m. that same day. The on-ice activities conclude on Sunday morning with the final scrimmage set for 9 a.m. All scrimmages will take place at the John Rhodes Community Centre.
