Hounds rank first in CHL Coaches Poll

SOUTHAVEN, MISSISSIPPI - The Central Hockey League has announced today that the Youngstown SteelHounds are the number one ranked team in the latest CHL Coaches Poll.

The Hounds were ranked second after the first poll that came out on November 1st. It was a 3-2 victory over Laredo on November 10th combined with an 11-0-1 start that sent the Hounds to the number one ranking.

Youngstown received 15 first place votes with the remaining two votes going to the Laredo Bucks.

The Hounds 11-0-1 start has been completely on the road and will not play their first home game until November 23rd against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs.

The Hounds will finish their road trip with games Friday at Mississippi and Saturday at Texas. Both games start at 8:05pm and are available on AM600 WSOM and SteelHounds.com.
