
Hounds Get Older in the Crease; Tynan Acquired from Niagara

Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis announced the acquisition of a 19-year goaltender early this afternoon.
In the transaction the Hounds receive G TUCKER TYNAN from the Niagara IceDogs in exchange for an 8th Round Pick in the 2024 and 3rd Round Pick in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection.
Originally selected in the 10th Round by Niagara in 2018, Tynan has appeared in 37 career regular season games played compiling a 16-17-3-1 win-loss record to go along with a 3.83 GAA and .904 SV%.
This season (2021-22) the 6.01, 175-lb netminder has compiled a 5-9-0-0 record to go along with a 3.88 GAA and .894 SV%.
The Chicago, IL native was named the OHL Goaltender of the Week to open the season after going in 2-0 with a 1.44 GAA and .950 SV% in a pair of games.
Tynan joins Samuel Ivanov (2003) and Charlie Schenkel (2004) in-between the crease for the Hounds.
