Hounds Announce Red and White Game Rosters

Following three days of on and off-ice activities, the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club has reduced their training camp roster to 40 players in preparation for Tuesday's Annual Red & White Game. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Essar Centre and tickets are still available by stopping by the box office at 269 Queen Street starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Released from camp following Monday's final scrimmage were:

Goalies - Charlie Millen, Justis Husak

Defensemen - Richard Burton, Ben Kramer, Yuriy Sokayev, James Bruin, Cody Doiron

Forwards - Michael Ruffa, Stuart King, Mike Sicilia, Nick Gradkowski, Blake Reid

The rosters for Tuesday's game are as follows:

TEAM RED

Goalies - 30 Matt Murray, 35 Michael Doan

Defense - 2 Derek Hartwick, 3 Brandon Archibald, 5 Gianluca Curcuruto, 6 Ryan Sproul, 7 Daniel Lombardi, 8 Mitchell Wedding

Forwards - 9 Brett Findlay, 11 Daniel Catenacci, 12 Carson Dubchak, 14 Justin Thomas, 15 Dominic DeSando, 16 Jake Carrick, 17 Mike MacIntyre, 18 Brian Bunnett, 19 Zach Aston-Reese, 20 Kyle Rowe

TEAM WHITE Goalies - 30 Bryce O'Hagan, 35 James Prigione

Defense - 2 Dylan King, 3 Brock Beukeboom, 5 Colin Miller, 6 David Mead, 7 Matt Fuller, 8 Patrick Volpe

Forwards - 9 Jordan Carroll, 11 Nick Cousins, 12 Brett Thompson, 14 Vern Cooper, 15 Nicholas Romano, 16 Trevor Morbeck, 17 Peter Angelopolous, 18 Ryan MacLean, 19 Adam Fares, 20 Devin Loe

Additionally, still with the club but not expected to participate in the Red & White game will be Myles McCauley, Egor Omelyanenko, Adam Chapman and Chad Thibodeau. All four players have sustained minor injuries during training camp and the timeline on their game eligibility is not known at this time.

Following the red and white contest the Hounds will have one team practice before departing for the pre-season tournament in Everett, Washington on Thursday. While there the Hounds will play a trio of WHL clubs including the host Everett Silvertips, Portland Winterhawks and Tri-City Americans.
