
Colts Acquire Steven Beyers

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that they have traded a second round draft pick in the 2011 Ontario Hockey league Priority Selection to the Sudbury Wolves for forward Steven Beyers.
Beyers was originally drafted by the Wolves in the third round (42nd overall) in 2008, and spent the last two seasons with the Orangeville Crushers.
The Orangeville native has played in 50 games for the Crushers over the last two seasons and registered 26 goals and 54 points.
The Colts sent the Wolves a 2011 second round draft pick that they had obtained earlier in the day as part of the Kerby Rychel trade.
Barrie will also give the Wolves a conditional fifth round draft pick in 2013.
