
Hounds Acquire Trio of Picks for Overager Carroll

Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis announced this afternoon the club has completed a transaction involving one of the club's overage players.
In the deal, the Greyhounds sent OA forward JOE CARROLL to the Peterborough Petes in exchange for a trio of draft picks:
- 3rd Round Pick in 2022 (Sarnia)
- 6th Round Pick in the 2023 (Mississauga) * conditional
- 12th Round Pick in 2023 (Peterborough)
Carroll, a native of Carp ON, was originally selected by the Hounds in the 4th Round of the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.
Amidst his 4th season in the OHL, Carroll played a combined 171 games for the Hounds recording 43 goals and 47 assists, good for 90 points.
He had 7 points in 32 career post-season contests.
As a result of today's transaction the club now sits with three overage players on it's active roster with Robert Calisti, Cole MacKay and Tye Kartye.
The team's overall roster now sits at 24 players as the team heads into tonight's action in Barrie against the Colts.
