Hot rods announce new ticket packages

(Bowling Green, KY) - The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, have announced that  group  outings  and multi‐game  ticket  plans  are  now  available  for  the  2009  season.   In  addition  to  these  new  offerings, fans can still purchase the team's "Winner's Circle" membership, a season ticket plan which  includes  special and exclusive benefits for the next five seasons.         "We're proud to share these great new ways that fans can be a part of the Hot Rods' inaugural season," said Hot  Rods General Manager  and CEO Brad  Taylor.   "Some  fans  can will  attend  a  few  games  and  some will  attend  every  game.   These  new  packages  will  give  fans  the  power  to  choose  the  best  option  for  their  family  or  organization."     Businesses, schools, churches, and other groups can enjoy a Hot Rods game together  in a variety of ways.  The  new ballpark will feature a left field picnic area for groups ranging from 25 to 200 and a suite‐level party deck for  groups of 25 to 100.  For a  fixed per person price, each of these special areas  includes admission to the game  and a 90‐minute catered buffet.  For groups that want to catch the game but don't want a catered affair, the Hot  Rods also offer a special Box Seat rate for groups of 25 or more.      The Hot Rods have also announced several new ticket plans, which will allow fans to purchase multiple games  and secure priority seating before individual game tickets are available for purchase.  New offerings include:    2009 Full‐Season Tickets ($650) 

Fans can enjoy the same great seats to all 70 Hot Rods home games.  This package includes special benefits like  priority  seat  selection,  select  "Ticket  Amnesty"  dates  to  exchange  unused  tickets,  and  admission  into  the  ballpark 30 minutes prior to the general public on most game days. 

Half‐Season Tickets ($325) 

For  fans  that  can't make  all  the  games, Half‐Season  Tickets offer  the  same  great  seats  to 35 Hot Rods home  games throughout the season.  Two different Half‐Season plans are available; one includes Opening Night (April  17) and the other features Independence Day Fireworks (July 4).      10‐Game "Top Ten" Pack ($100) 

The "Top Ten" Pack  is the only way, other than Full‐Season or Half‐Season Tickets, to guarantee a ticket to the  Hot Rods Home Opener on April 17.  This package includes an average of two games per month with each game  taking place between Thursday and Sunday.  Each game will also  feature a matchup against a different South  Atlantic League opponent.    5‐Game "Super Saturday" Pack ($50) 

With  this 5‐game plan,  fans can see one game per month and enjoy some of  the season's  top promotions.   It  features  five different  South Atlantic  League opponents,  including  games  against  the  future  stars of  the New  York Yankees  (Charleston) and Boston Red Sox  (Greenville).  This package also  includes a matchup against  the  Hot Rods' Bluegrass rivals, the Lexington Legends.      5‐Game "Kids Day" Pack ($50) 

With  this mini‐plan,  fans  can  see  one  game  per month  and  enjoy  some  of  the  season's  top  youth‐themed  promotions.  It features five different South Atlantic League opponents, including games against the future stars  of the New York Yankees (Charleston) and Boston Red Sox (Greenville).   Every game takes place on a Sunday, so  kids can run the bases after each game in the package (weather permitting).      Turbo Tix ($60) 

The Turbo Tix package,  ideally suited  for gifts and employee  incentives,  includes six  (6) undated vouchers that  can  be  exchanged  for  a  seat  to  nearly  every  2009  Hot  Rods  home  game  once  individual  game  tickets  are  available for purchase.  Turbo Tix offers you the flexibility to redeem the tickets  in a combination of ways.  For  example, one fan could attend six different games or a family of six could attend one game together.  Seating is  subject  to  availability  and  the  Hot  Rods  highly  recommend  exchanging  vouchers  in  advance  of  the  desired  game(s).  Vouchers are not valid for Opening Night or Major League rehab appearances.    These new ticket packages are now available by calling the Hot Rods' Administrative Office at (270) 901‐2121 or  visiting www.bghotrods.com.      Opening Night, presented by Citizens First Bank,  is scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2009, against the Kannapolis  Intimidators, Single‐A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.
