Hot Rods to Host Playoff Game Wednesday Night at 7:05 PM

Bowling Green, KY - The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class A Affiliates of the Tampa Bay Rays, will host Game 1 of the Midwest League Eastern Division Quarterfinals on Wednesday at 7:05 PM at Bowling Green Ballpark. The Hot Rods won the Eastern Division Second Half Championship and will face the Fort Wayne TinCaps (Padres), the winners of the Eastern Division First Half Wild Card.

The Hot Rods will play the TinCaps on the road in Fort Wayne, IN for Games 2 and 3.

Wednesday, September 4 - 7:05 PM:

Ticket prices remain the same as the regular season: $10 for box seats and $12 for premium box seats with gates opening at 6:00 PM

Wednesday, September 4 at 7:05 PM

Second Round:

Sunday, September 8 at 5:05 PM

Monday, September 9 at 7:05 PM (if necessary)

Championship Round:

Fort Wayne TinCaps Scouting Report:

The Hot Rods participated in their first-ever playoff game in Fort Wayne against the TinCaps in 2011. Fort Wayne swept the Hot Rods out of the playoffs that season.

The TinCaps were defeated in the 2012 Midwest League Championship Series by the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

This season, the Hot Rods were 10-4 against the TinCaps, including a 5-1 mark at Parkview Field.
