
Hot Hitting Kuhn Named Player of the Week

The American Association announced today that Winnipeg Goldeyes infielder Tyler Kuhn has been named the Pointstreak Player of the Week, for the week ending May 18.
Kuhn, 27, hit .524 in Winnipeg's first four games, going 11-for-21. He had at least two hits in each of the four games and leads the American Association in batting average and hits.
Going back to last season, the Goldeyes have won the last two player of the week awards, as outfielder Ray Sadler won the last award of 2013.
The Goldeyes begin a three-game series tonight in Laredo against the Lemurs. Game time is 7:30 p.m. The pre-game show with Steve Schuster begins at 7:00 p.m. on Jewel 101 (100.7 FM).
