D Frank Hora rewarded with call up to Lehigh Valley

Reading, PA - Defenseman Frank Hora has been recalled from loan by the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the team announced Friday. Hora has three assists, a plus-seven rating and 12 penalty minutes in 17 games with Reading.

A 21-year-old defenseman from Cheektowaga, NY, Hora is in his rookie season after captaining the OHL's Kitchener Rangers in 2016-17. Hora had 11 goals and 91 points in 241 OHL games. He made his professional debut (3 GP) with the Cleveland Monsters last season.

This is his second call up to Lehigh Valley this season; Hora was recalled on Nov. 25 and sent back to the Royals on Nov. 26.

The Royals finish up their road trip with a pair of games in Wheeling this weekend.
