Corpus Christi, TX - The Springfield Cardinals (46-54) again got the tying run on base in the 9th, but the Corpus Christi Hooks (47-53, 15-16) hung on for their sixth straight win, 7-6, on Friday at Whataburger Field.

Notables:

CF Mike Antico went 3x5 with a solo home run in the 6th inning... SS Masyn Winn extended his hitting streak to eight games with a pair of singles in a 2x4 night... RF Jordan Walker went 1x3 with a double.
