
Honzek Added to Wranglers Roster, Will Make Pro Debut Friday

Langley, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants are proud to announce that forward Sam Honzek has been added to the Calgary Wranglers roster and is expected to make his professional debut tonight, Friday April 19, against the Abbotsford Canucks.
The Wranglers are the American Hockey League affiliate of the Calgary Flames, who selected Honzek in the first round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, 16th overall.
The Giants captain played in NHL pre-season games with the Flames, but hasn't played a regular season game yet in the professional ranks. Honzek signed his entry-level contract with the Flames last summer.
This past season, he posted 10 goals and 31 points in 33 games.
