Valentine's Day is right around the corner on the calendar and Homer wants to help you celebrate the occasion with your sweetheart. The Saltdogs' lovable mascot will make a special delivery to your valentine's home or office with gifts that include a card, one red rose, a box of chocolates, an autographed picture of Homer, and a digital photo with him and your better half. Plus, the baseball fan in your heart will receive a $25 Saltdog gift card, which is good for tickets or merchandise at Haymarket Park. Hurry...Homer's Happy Valentine's Special is only $50 and available to a limited number of deliveries.

Other News: Lincoln manager Tim Johnson spent the past few months managing the Guasave Cotton Growers in the Mexican Winter League. He took over a team that started 5-17 and fired two managers before he took over. TJ guided Guasave to a 23-22 mark the rest of the way...Evan Tartaglia signed with Philadelphia after last season...Among the Dogs playing elsewhere during the off-season: Jeff Blitstein (Mexico), Brian Rodaway (Venezuela), and Lindsay Gulin (Dominican Republic).
