Home Sweet Home
February 14, 2003 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Georgia Force News Release
The Force is finally coming home in week 3. After opening two weeks ago with a big win in a very hostile Pepsi Center over the expansion Colorado Crush, the Force came up short in Detroit last week.
This week is a chance to get back on the right track, and finally they'll have a packed house on their side! This Sunday is also the debut event for the Force's new home, the Arena at Gwinnett Center. 15,000 Atlantans turned out for the Open House event last Sunday. Many were there to get a sneak peak at what the arena will look like from their season ticket seats, while others stood in line for hours just to secure the privilege of being able to claim the title of Season Ticket Hoder for the arena's inaugural season.
Gamecenter Is Online
GeorgiaForce.com announces the launch of Gamecenter, your center for information about the week's upcoming game, including player updates, info on the coaches, where/when you can see and hear the game via broadcast, "extra points" of interest to take note of during the week's game, and much, much more!
Georgia Force Single Game Tickets and Flex Packages Now On Sale!
The Force has announced that single game tickets and flex packages for the team's eight game home schedule are now on sale. Playing in their new home, the Arena at Gwinnett Center, the Force's home opener is this Sunday, February 16th against the defending AFL World Champion San Jose SaberCats on national television. This Sunday's debut for the new arena looks to be a sell-out, so don't delay if you still need to get tickets for this historic weekend, because time is running out!
