Holmes, Calisti, Boudreau in Final 2021 NHL Central Scouting Draft Rankings

The Soo Greyhounds are proud to announce that three players have been listed on the NHL Central Scouting's Final Rankings for the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

Of the over two hundred draft eligible North American skaters, JACOB HOLMES leads the red and white with a 70th position ranking (Round 3) followed by ROBERT CALISTI at 156 (Round 5) and MARC BOUDREAU at 206 (Round 7).

Holmes, a native of Alliston ON completed his inaugural campaign with the Greyhounds in 2019-20 where he produced 3 goals and 6 assists and a plus-9 in 57 games played.

The Hounds 2019 1st Round selection was previous a C-rated prospect in midterm rankings earlier this year.

Calisti completed his second full season with the Hounds in 2019-20 where he had a career year recording 18 goals (nine PPG) and 32 assists (50 points) in 64 regular season games played.

He was later named the Hounds Most Improved Player.

The Etobicoke, ON product signed an Amateur Tryout Agreement with the AHL's Belleville Senators and this past February and appeared in one game with the big club.

Boudreau, like Holmes, completed his rookie campaign in 2019-20.

In 59 regular season games played the Toronto ON native registered 4 goals and 8 assists good for 12 points.

Holmes, Calisti and Boudreau are hopeful to add to the list of Greyhounds who have heard their named called at the NHL Entry Draft.

As one of the leading producers in the CHL, the Greyhounds have had eighteen (18) players selected in the past six drafts.

The 2021 NHL Entry Draft is scheduled to be held on July 23-24, 2021.
