Attack Trio Ranks in Final NHL Central Scouting List

A trio of Owen Sound Attack players have been named to the National Hockey Leagues final Central Scouting Ranking ahead of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft in Montreal, Quebec.

Ranked as the 83rd overall North American skater, forward Deni Goure leads the way for Attack skaters, while fellow forwards Ethan Burroughs and Kaleb Lawrence appear on the list of North American skaters at 138th and 215threspectively.

In 2019-20, Goure appeared in all 62-regular season before the cancellation of the season. The native of Grand Pointe, Ontario was a presence down the middle for the Attack recording 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points in his rookie campaign. Goure was invited the Hockey Canada U17 development camp in 2019. In preparation for a return to the ice, Deni dedicated his time during the extended off-season to getting stronger adding 15-pounds of muscle.

Burroughs played in 53 games in the pandemic shortened 2019-20 season, registering eight goals and 11 assists in his rookie campaign. The native of Georgetown, Ontario also played for Team Canada Red at the 2019 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. Burroughs off-season training also enabled him to get stronger adding 16-pounds of muscle.

In his rookie season, Lawrence played in 29 games recording five goals, three assists for eight points and a plus-two rating. The native of Orleans, Ontario was invited the Hockey Canada U17 development camp and later named to Canada's Team Black for the 2019 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

All three players will attempt to improve their draft stock from June 1st to 13th at the PBHH Invitational in Erie, Pennsylvania, where scouts will get the first glimpse of their training over the past year.
