
Hogs Beat Mallards 3-1

The Mallards dropped a 3-1 decision to the Rockford IceHogs on Sunday at The MARK. Chad Woollard recorded the lone Mallards tally in the loss.
Woollard opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 5:18 of the opening period. Evgeny Lazarev and Andrei Lupandin earned assists on Woollard's fifth goal of the year.
Preston Mizzi tied the game for Rockford with his league-leading ninth goal of the year with just 54 seconds left in the opening period. Rockford took the lead at 5:17 of the second frame on a goal by former Mallard Greg Barber. Robin Big Snake scored the game's final goal less than three minutes later to set the final at 3-1.
The Mallards begin a four-game road trip on Wednesday in Adirondack. Game time is 6:05 p.m. central time with a 5:40 p.m. Pre-Game Show on Fox Sports Radio AM 1230. During the intermissions, stay tuned for the Swiss Valley Farms Intermission Report. After the game, the Allstate Insurance Christy Cox Post-Game Show is on the air.
On Friday, the Mallards are in Danbury to take on the Trashers. Game time is 6:30 p.m. central time. The game will be broadcast live at The Lodge via the B2 Networks. Admission is $5 for families or $2 for individuals.
The Mallards return home on Friday, November 11th for magnet schedule night presented by Eagle's Crest Apartments, Riverbend Home Mortgage and Q106.5. Game time is 7:00 p.m. as the Mallards host the Motor City Mechanics.
