Dorian Anneck, John Dean, Ben Gustavson and Brandon Carper were the marksmen for the Gorillas, while goaltender Shawn Degagne posted the win to go over the .500 mark at 6-5 on the season. It was head coach Joe Ferras' fifth win in New Mexico dating back to last season.
STATS PACK: The Amarillo Gorillas have won six games in a shootout this season with the goaltending tandem of Steve DeBus and Shawn Degagne each winning three. DeBus' save percentage of .937 ranks fourth in the CHL. The Gorillas are 7-2 on the road this season while they are one game below .500 on home ice.
