TULSA, OK- The Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League are back in action tonight at 7:35 as they host the Oklahoma City Blazers. Tonight's game features the top two teams in the Northwest Division in the Tulsa Oilers (20-5-1) and the Oklahoma City Blazers (14-9-1). With 41 points, Tulsa is in first place while the Blazers sit in second with 29 points. Tulsa has won the previous three meetings with Oklahoma City this season, the last one an 8-5 decision on November 16th at Tulsa Convention Center.
The Oilers are conducting a Food and Coat Drive at their game tonight. For every non-perishable food item or coat donated, you will receive $2.00 off a ticket to tonight's game. The drive continues tomorrow night as the Oilers host the Wichita Thunder. The Oilers will donate all items to Tulsa-area day shelters on Monday afternoon. Also, the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive an Oilers team poster from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office. Tonight's game will be carried live by Cox Cable Channel 9 as part of the Oklahoma Ford Turnpike Series.
Tickets for tonight's game are available at local Drug Marts, the Tulsa Convention Center Box Office, the Oilers office, or by phone at 584-2000.
