SEASON SERIES: Tonight's game will be the third of six meetings between Fort Worth and Wichita this season. ... The two team's are scheduled to meet one time in each of the season's final three months, including their next game Jan. 15 in Fort Worth. ... The Brahmas defeated the Thunder 4-2 in the teams' season-opener, and Wichita gained a measure of revenge with a 4-2 victory Nov. 3 in Wichita.
FORT WORTH NOTES: The Brahmas will take the ice tonight looking to snap a seven-game losing streak on the road. ... The game will represent the end of a stint, in which Fort Worth played 11 of 12 games on the road. ... Defenseman Mike McKinnon is not expected to play this evening, leaving the Brahmas with 14 skaters for tonight's game. ... WICHITA NOTES: Wichita has won four of its last 10 games...Four of their six wins this season have come at home... The Thunder have scored 21 goals in their last five games, moving them into second place among CHL teams with 3.71 goals a game. ... Wichita remains last in the league in goals against, giving up 4.54 goals a game. ... Center Travis Clayton has recorded eight points in the last five games, bumping his team-leading point total to 40 (14G/26A). ... Three players have each added six points in their last five games, including winger Jeff Petruic, who now has 34 points (13G/21A).
