HOUSTON, Texas - Every point scored by Houston Aeros center Steve Kelly during the remainder of the 2007-08 regular season will lead to a donation to "Bo's Place", thanks to the generosity of an anonymous local donor. The program - "Hockey Heals for Bo's Place" - starts with tonight's 7:35 p.m. game versus Hartford. Bo's Place (www.bosplace.org) provides children and their families highly individualized grief support, free of charge, to those who have experienced the death of a loved one.

The anonymous donor will give $1000 per Kelly goal and $200 per Kelly assist for each of the remaining games this season, both home and away. Also, if Kelly tallies a hat trick (three goals) at any home game, the donor will give Bo's Place a one-time donation of $20,000. Pledge forms for fans will be available at all Aeros' home games, and online at www.aeros.com.

"We are extremely excited that the donor, Steve Kelly and Houston Aeros Charities have chosen Bo's Place for this special fundraiser," said Patricia Lind, Executive Director of Bo's Place. "We really appreciate the initiation of this program and look forward to watching Steve succeed on the ice."

"I was honored to be the player chosen to help with the Hockey Heals for Bo's Place program," Kelly said. "I am going to try my hardest to get the points which will help everyone who uses Bo's Place as a place to heal."

This is the third such performance-based program for the Aeros and the donor. In the 2003-04 season, the Aeros ran a similar program called "Cullen for Kids" which raised over $3500 for The Sunshine Kids Foundation, and in 2005-06, "Murphy's Mission" raised over $2600 for the "I Have a Dream"® Program, which included additional pledges from Aeros fans.
