Tulsa Oilers News Release
Two great and longstanding Tulsa Oiler events will combine for the first time on Tuesday April 20th at Indigo Joes at 104th and Memorial.
The Oilers will hold a Hockey Happy Hour, to give fans a chance to ask questions and hear about off season developments with the team, on and off the ice. The Hockey Happy Hour will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Fans will then be invited to stick around and watch NHL playoff games, as there are five games in the Conference Quarterfinal rounds that will be played Tuesday night. Indigo Joe's provides a non smoking family friendly environment for the Oilers Hockey Happy Hour and playoff watch parties.
"We have had so many things happen already and have so much to let fans know about we appreciate Indigo Joe's hosting this special Hockey Happy Hour," Oiler general manager Taylor Hall said. "We look forward to doing this on a regular basis throughout the summer. It's a great way for fans to ask questions."
The Oilers will be hosting watch parties for each game of the Stanley Cup final at River Spirit Casino, and Hall said Tuesday night will give fans a chance to warm up to those events. This is the fifth straight year the Oilers have hosted Stanley Cup final watch parties.
Fans who are unable to attend the Hockey Happy Hour can log on and listen live at www.tulsaoilers.com.
The Oilers had the second highest point total increase in the CHL this season under head coach Bruce Ramsay, who was in his first season with the Oilers. They will have 32 home games at the BOK Center in the 2010-11 season.
Season tickets for 2010-11 with plans for as low as $26 a month are now available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
