WICHITA, Kan. (May 1, 2007) - RHP Luke Hochevar will make his sixth start of the season for the Wranglers tomorrow morning against the Springfield Cardinals. Hochevar was also named Texas League Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 16-22. He was 2-0 and pitched in 14.2 innings giving up 8 hits, 3 earned runs, no walks, and struck out 18.
The Kansas City Royals #1 overall draft pick in 2006 is (2-2) for the Wranglers this season. He has pitched in 26 innings giving up 23 hits, 10 earned runs, 2 home runs, 8 walks and has struck out 32 batters.
Hochevar has not faced the Cardinals this season. Tomorrow's game time is scheduled for 11:00 AM at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.
