HITMEN HEADLINES: The Calgary Hitmen, riding a season high eight game winning streak, are back in the Pengrowth Saddledome Friday night to host the Prince Albert Raiders. The Hitmen are coming off a four game prairie road swing that saw Calgary win all four games (Tues. 2-1 @ Swift Current, Wed. 6-2 @ Regina, Fri. 2-1 @ Brandon and Sat. 6-1 @ Moose Jaw).
VS PRINCE ALBERT: Friday is the second of four meetings with the Raiders. Prince Albert leads the season series 1-0.
Oct. 28 in Prince Albert; Raiders 3 Hitmen 2 in OT. Ryan Harrison 1g 1a including the OT winner.

Carson McMillan (3g 3a) has points in five straight games while Brendan Rowinski (4g 4a) has points in six of the last seven. Bostjan Golicic has points in back-to-back games (1g 1a). Friday marks the start of a three game home stand for the Hitmen who will then play seven of their next nine on the road before the Christmas Break .....Five Hitmen (Sonne, Kozun, Bortis, McMillan and Rowinski) are all averaging at least a point a game.....The Hitmen have won five straight on the road and seven in a row at home.....Calgary is ranked fifth in the Canadian Hockey League Top 10.....During their current eight game winning streak the Hitmen have outscored their opponents by a combined 32-13.
KOZUN AND SONNE TO REPRESENT HITMEN: The Canadian Hockey League and Western Hockey League have announced the players and coaching staff competing in the 2008 ADT Canada Russia Challenge for Team WHL. Hitmen forwards Brandon Kozun and Brett Sonne were named to the squad. They will both suit up for Team WHL in Swift Current and Prince Albert on November 26th and 27th.
MADAISKY OFF TO WORLDS: Hitmen defenceman Austin Madaisky will suit up for Team Pacific at the upcoming World Under 17 Hockey Challenge. The tournament will take place from December 28th to January 4th in Port Alberni, BC.
DRAFTED PLAYERS: The Hitmen have eight NHL prospects ...Carson McMillan-(7th round Minnesota 2007), Alex Plante (1st round Edmonton 2007), Paul Postma-(7th round Atlanta 2007), Ian Schultz-(3rd round St. Louis 2008), Keith Seabrook-(2nd round Washington 2006), Brett Sonne-(3rd round St. Louis 2007) and Michael Stone-(3rd round Phoenix 2008). Martin Jones-(Los Angeles Kings-Signed '08).
THE ROSTER: Calgary is carrying 23 players; (14 forwards, 7 defencemen and 2 goalies)

UPCOMING GAMES: The Hitmen will enjoy a full six day break before hosting Swift Current on Friday, November 28th at 7:00 p.m. Calgary will then host the 14th annual Petro-Canada Teddy Bear Toss on Sunday, November 30th against Brandon. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
