Hitmen Expand Corral Series Luncheon to Include Second Hot Stove Panel

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced a second Hot Stove Panel for the "The Corral Series Luncheon" on Thursday, January 31 sponsored by Sportsnet 960-The Fan.

Kelly Kisio, Jim "Bearcat" Murray and Dana Murzyn will join the trio of Danny Gare, Jerry Holland and Mike Rogers in the Scotiabank Saddledome Chrysler Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All six will tell stories from the past and reflect on their junior hockey roots in Calgary and the Stampede Corral.

Kisio was a prolific scorer who tallied 259 points in just two seasons with the Calgary Wranglers before playing 13 seasons in the NHL, including two with the Flames. Murray was the Hall of Fame equipment manager for the Calgary Centennials, Cowboys, Wranglers and Flames while Murzyn recorded 124 points as a defenceman for the Wranglers, including a 90 point season in 1984-85, before a 14 year NHL career which included a 1989 Stanley Cup with the Flames.

Tickets for the luncheon are $60 each (plus applicable fees and taxes) and include the following:

The luncheon will act as the unofficial kick-off to the "The Corral Series" presented by Adrenalin Source for Sports. As a tribute to the city's hockey history, the Calgary Hitmen will play three games in the historic building dedicating each game to former local teams who once called the Stampede Corral home by wearing commemorative jerseys of the Calgary Centennials, Cowboys and Wranglers.
