Hispanic Heritage Night Coming to Gillette Stadium on Sunday

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution announces that Budweiser Hispanic Heritage Night will take place at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, September 28th when the Revs take on the Columbus Crew at 6:00 p.m.

Hispanic food, dancing and singing will fill Soccer Celebration and musical acts will play in the Plaza area. There will be a display of flags from Latin American countries on the field just before game time.

The Revs-Crew match boasts an exciting array of Hispanic stars. The Crew comes to town with two Hispanic players, Guatemalan star Freddy Garcia as well as former Rev Alex Pineda Chacon, who is from Honduras. The Revolution roster features Uruguayan star José Cancela, Argentine forward Dario Fabbro and Colombian-born U.S. international Carlos Llamosa.

Several music and dance acts will showcase their talents outside the Gillette Stadium gates. "Grupo Estrella" will be performing at the West Gate, while "Grupo Los Nitidos" will play at the Fleet Plaza.

Singer Compadre Simon will perform at Soccer Celebration. Additionally, there will be a variety of Hispanic food sold outside the stadium next to Soccer Celebration.
