THE HILLCATS: Lynchburg captured game two of their four-game series with the Indians with a 4-1 win at Kinston....It was the third straight victory for the Hillcats...Tonight is the third game of the Cats current seven-game road trip...

VS. KINSTON: Last season the Indians won the season series against the Hillcats 12-7 and were 6-3 against Lynchburg at Grainger Stadium...After taking three out of four at Kinston in the first series of the season against the K-Tribe, the Cats lost their last five games at the home of the Indians...The last scheduled game between the two last year was canceled due to soggy field conditions and never made-up...

CALL IT A CATS COMEBACK: The Hillcats fell down 1-0 after an inning last night before rallying for the win...Eight of the Cats 11 wins have been in come from behind fashion this season...Their last three games for Lynchburg have all been comeback wins...

RIGHT WHERE WE WANT 'EM: Last night's game was the second straight contest the Hillcats were losing after an inning of play and came back to win...On five separated occasions this year Lynchburg has allowed a run or more in the first inning and come back and won...They are 5-4 this year in games their opponent scores first...

SOUTHERN COMFORT: In six games against the Southern Division the Hillcats have gone 5-1 thus far this season...

GETTING AWAY WITH IT: Last night the Hillcats stole their 19th base of the season in 22 attempts this year...They have the best success rate in the CL (86%)...

LOVIN' THE LONG BALL: The Hillcats hit two home runs in the first game of this series and it marked the first time this year they have hit more than one home run in a game...They had gone three games without a homer and they entered this series in last place in the league in round trippers...

CLUBBING CATCHER: C Kris Watts is off to an incredible start this season...In 13 games he is hitting .463 (19-for-41) with five doubles, a triple, two home runs, nine RBI, 12 runs scored and nine walks...He is first in the league in batting, on-base percentage (.577) and slugging percentage (.780)...Amongst all of minor league baseball he is second in average, first in on-base percentage, and fifth in slugging percentage...

MAKING THE MOST OF IT: OF Alex Presley is taking advantage of his recent playing time...He is now riding a team-high nine-game hitting streak and over that stretch is batting .385 (15-for-39) with three doubles, two triples, a home run, 11 runs scored and five RBI...Last night he went for 2-for-4 with a double, a run and a walk...

THREE-BAGGIN': On Thursday night UTIL Miles Durham hit his third triple of the season to drive-in three runs in the seven-run fourth inning...It was the third triple of the season for Durham who only had five triples in his three-year career and had only one all of last season...He is currently leading the Carolina League in the category...

TONIGHT'S OPPOSING PITCHER: RHP Jeanmar Gomez was signed at just 16 years of age in 2005 out of Venezuela...In 2006 he made his professional debut and went 4-3 with a 2.48 ERA in 11 games (nine starts) with the GCL Indians...He advanced to Low-A Lake County in 2007 and posted an 11-7 record with a 4.80 ERA in 27 starts with the Captains...Last season he pitched with High-A Kinston and had a 5-9 mark with a 4.55 ERA in 27 starts...Thus far this season back with the K-Tribe Gomez has made three starts and gone 1-2 with a 3.71 ERA...He made three starts against Lynchburg last season and went 0-1 with a 3.52 ERA against the Hillcats...
